These terms apply to every course and service you buy from MyCyberWay Limited – through this website, by email, or by signing an enrolment agreement. Please read them with our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of them, and our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

1. About us
- We are MyCyberWay Limited, a private limited company registered in Scotland with company number SC872069. Our registered office is 29 Bellerophon Drive, Penicuik, EH26 8NU.
- You can contact us by email at hello@mycyberway.co.uk, or by phone or the form on our Contact page.
- We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC145856.
- “We”, “us” and “our” mean MyCyberWay Limited. “You” means the person or business buying from us.
2. How these terms work
- MCW courses are our own programmes – Blue Team Analyst, Blue Team Specialist and Blue Team Engineer – and any other course we describe as an MCW course.
- Services are everything else we provide, including Microsoft certification training, CV, LinkedIn, interview and career services, and subscriptions.
- Specific terms are the extra terms for a particular course or service. Every MCW course has them. For a service they may be on its product page, or in a proposal or agreement we give you. We make specific terms available to you before you buy.
- If specific terms say something different from these terms or our Refund and Cancellation Policy, the specific terms apply to that course or service.
- Nothing in our specific terms, our policies or these terms takes away your statutory rights.
- Consultancy and project work for organisations is provided under a separate written agreement. These terms apply to it only where that agreement says so.
3. Your order and our contract
- You must be 18 or over to buy from us. If you are under 18, please contact us before you book.
- Ordering online: choose a course or service, check your basket, go to checkout, enter your details, accept these terms and pay. Until you place the order you can go back, change or remove items in your basket, and correct your details.
- When you place an order, we email you to acknowledge and confirm it. Our contract is made when we send that confirmation.
- Enrolling by agreement: if you enrol on an MCW course by signing an enrolment agreement, the contract is made when you return the signed agreement and we confirm your place in writing.
- Our contracts are made in English. We keep a record of your order, which you can see in your account, and you can save or print these terms at any time.
- Your account is personal to you. Keep your login details private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them.
- If we find an obvious error in a price or description, we will contact you before your course or service starts. You can then continue at the correct price, or cancel for a full refund.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and are the full price you pay, including any VAT. We do not add compulsory charges at checkout.
- Card payments are processed by our payment providers, which meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We never see or store your full card details.
- Paying online means paying the full price at checkout. If you choose a pay-later option offered by a payment provider, that arrangement is between you and the provider. Some MCW courses can also be paid in stages; the options and their conditions are in the course’s specific terms.
- If an agreed payment is late, we will remind you. If it is more than seven days late, we may pause the course or service until it is paid; pausing does not change the total price. If it still goes unpaid, we may end the contract as section 6 explains.
- Any charges your own bank makes, for example for international payments, are yours to pay.
- We issue an invoice or receipt for every payment. We will never ask you by email to change the bank details you pay us to – if you receive a message like that, contact us before you pay.
5. How we deliver our courses and services
- Classes and sessions are live and online, in UK hours, unless the product page says otherwise. Written work, such as a CV, is sent to you by email. We agree your start date and schedule with you after you buy.
- For MCW courses, the specific terms set out how the course is structured and scheduled, and what is included.
- We keep our content up to date. We may update materials, tools and the order of topics where that helps your learning, as long as everything we described is delivered.
- Microsoft certification training prepares you for exams that Microsoft sets, changes and retires. We teach to the current exam outline. If Microsoft retires your exam before your training is complete, we will offer you a suitable alternative or, if you prefer, refund anything not yet delivered.
- Exam fees are not included. You book and pay for Microsoft exams directly with Microsoft, under Microsoft’s terms. MyCyberWay is an independent training provider; Microsoft certifications are awarded by Microsoft when you pass its exams.
- Labs may run on third-party platforms, including your own Microsoft or cloud accounts, under those providers’ terms. You are responsible for any costs in your own accounts. If a free trial we rely on is withdrawn, we will give you another way to complete the practical work.
- We do not promise that you will pass an exam or get a job, an interview or a particular salary. Outcomes depend on your own effort, your background and the job market.
- Job opportunities we share come from employers and other third parties. We check them, but we cannot guarantee that a role is still open or accurately described.
6. Cancelling and refunds
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy sets this out in full. In summary:
- MCW courses: cancellations, withdrawals and refunds follow the course’s own terms.
- All other services: cancel within 24 hours of paying for a full refund. After that, payments are non-refundable unless a service’s own terms say otherwise. If your circumstances change, talk to us – any refund we agree is at most 50% of the part not yet delivered.
- If we cancel or cannot deliver what you paid for, we refund everything not yet delivered.
- Exam fees and costs in your own accounts are paid to others, so we cannot refund them.
When we may end a contract
- We may suspend or end a course or service if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms – for example by not paying after reminders, misusing our materials or accounts, behaving abusively, or breaching section 9. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you the chance to put things right.
- If we end a contract for one of these reasons, fees for anything already delivered stay payable. For anything not yet delivered, we refund what you have paid, less a reasonable amount for the losses the breach has caused us.
7. Certification
- MCW credentials are awarded only when the criteria in the course’s specific terms are met. Our Certification page explains how they work.
- MyCyberWay is a private training provider. Our credentials are our own: they are not regulated or accredited qualifications, and they are not Microsoft certifications.
- We may withdraw a credential that was obtained through plagiarism, cheating or misrepresentation.
8. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information, and tell us early if anything changes that affects your course or service.
- Attend on time and take part. Where a course has assignments, complete them – for MCW courses they are the assessed element.
- Provide the equipment, internet connection and any lab environment your course needs, using the setup guidance we give you.
- Keep your account and lab access to yourself. Access is personal and cannot be shared or transferred.
- Treat tutors and other learners with respect. We do not accept harassment, discrimination or abuse in our sessions or in any community we run.
- Only give us information about other people – for example referees on your CV – if you are entitled to share it.
9. Legal and regulatory compliance
We run MyCyberWay in line with UK law, and we ask everyone who learns with us to do the same.
What we commit to
- Fair dealing with consumers. We follow the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024: clear information before you buy, prices that include every compulsory charge, no pressure selling, and honest descriptions of what our courses and credentials are and are not.
- Trading openly online. We follow the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the disclosure rules of the Companies Act 2006. Our company details are in section 1, and we acknowledge every online order by email.
- Data protection and privacy. We handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 – see section 11.
- Equality and accessibility. We follow the Equality Act 2010. If a disability or other need affects how you learn, tell us and we will make reasonable adjustments – for example to how materials are provided, or how sessions and assessments run.
- Secure payments. Card payments are handled by PCI DSS-compliant payment providers, and we never store card details.
- Responsible business. We do not offer, pay, request or accept bribes (Bribery Act 2010), and we do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chain (Modern Slavery Act 2015).
- Honest marketing. Our advertising follows the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code).
What we need from you
- Use your skills lawfully. Under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 it is a criminal offence to gain unauthorised access to a computer system or its data, or to impair how one works. Scanning or testing systems you have no permission to test can cross that line. Use the tools and techniques you learn only on systems you own, on lab environments we provide or ask you to build, or on systems you have explicit written permission to test.
- Respect copyright and confidentiality in our materials, recordings and case studies (section 10).
- Protect other people’s privacy. Do not record sessions yourself, and do not share other learners’ names, images, voices or details outside the course.
- Follow third-party rules. Microsoft’s exam policies and candidate agreement, and the terms of any cloud or lab platform you use, apply to you directly.
- Be honest. Submit your own work, and describe your qualifications accurately – never claim a MyCyberWay credential or a Microsoft certification you have not earned.
- Sanctions. We cannot provide a course or service where doing so would break UK sanctions or export control law.
A serious breach of this section may lead us to end your course or service under section 6 and, where appropriate, to report it to the relevant authorities.
10. Course materials, recordings and intellectual property
- Our course materials, slides, lab guides, assignments and recordings belong to MyCyberWay, or to the people who license them to us, and are protected by copyright.
- We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study, during your course and afterwards.
- You may not copy, share, publish or sell them, use them to train others, or upload them to any public or shared repository, including AI training data sets.
- Sessions may be recorded so that learners can review them. Recordings can include other learners’ voices and questions: they are for your own study and must not be shared. Recordings are personal data, and we handle them under the laws in section 11.
- Microsoft and the names of Microsoft products are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Other product names we mention belong to their owners.
11. Your personal data
- We use your personal data to provide, schedule and support your courses and services, to assess and certify your work, to take payments and keep accounts, and to meet our legal obligations. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights.
- We never sell your personal data. We share it only as our Privacy Policy describes – mainly with the providers who help us deliver our services, such as our payment, credential, email and hosting providers and our accountants – or where the law requires.
- We send marketing emails only where the law allows, for example about similar courses and services if you are a customer and have not opted out. Every marketing email lets you unsubscribe.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@mycyberway.co.uk.
- If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. We acknowledge data protection complaints within 30 days and tell you what we have done about them. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
12. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breaching your statutory rights as a consumer.
- If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.
- We are not responsible for problems caused by your own equipment, software or internet connection, or for outages of third-party platforms that are outside our control. If a session is lost because of a problem on our side, we rearrange it at no cost.
- Different limits apply if you buy for a business – see section 15.
13. Events outside our control
If an event outside our reasonable control – such as a major internet or platform outage, serious illness or government action – delays or prevents what we have agreed to provide, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the effect. We are not responsible for delays caused by such an event, but we will rearrange what is affected; and if the delay is likely to be substantial, you can cancel and get back anything you have paid for and not received.
14. Changes to these terms and our services
- We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in what we offer. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
- If we need to change a subscription’s price or terms, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
- If we need to make a change that significantly affects a course or service you have bought, we will tell you first, and you can then cancel and get back anything not yet delivered.
15. If you are buying for a business
This section applies if you buy for a business – for example as an employer buying training for your staff.
- The consumer rights in these terms do not apply; our Refund and Cancellation Policy does. We always provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not liable to a business for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to a business for all claims about an order is limited to the price paid for that order.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- Invoices are payable by the date shown on them. We may charge interest on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- These terms, any specific terms and your order are the entire agreement between us. You have not relied on any statement that is not set out in them, but this does not exclude liability for fraud.
16. Complaints and disputes
- If something is not right, please tell us first by emailing hello@mycyberway.co.uk. We reply within five working days, and if we need longer to look into it, we will tell you when to expect a full answer.
- If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you so in writing, give you the name and website of an accredited alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider that could deal with it, and say whether we are willing to use it.
- Free, independent consumer advice is available from Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland (Scotland) and Consumerline (Northern Ireland).
- Data protection complaints can also go to the ICO, as section 11 explains.
17. General
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under a contract to another organisation, for example if our business is sold. We will tell you if this happens, and it will not reduce your rights; if you are unhappy, you can end the contract and get back anything not yet delivered.
- You may transfer your rights under a contract only with our written agreement.
- Nobody else has any right to enforce these terms.
- If a court decides that any part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not insist straight away that you do something you are required to do, we can still insist on it later.
- We send notices by email to the address you gave us. You can send notices to us at hello@mycyberway.co.uk.
18. Governing law and courts
- These terms, and any contract between us, are governed by the law of Scotland.
- If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland or in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and we can bring proceedings against you only in the courts where you live. You also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws that apply where you live.
- If you are a consumer living outside the UK, you keep any protection that the mandatory laws of your country give you.
- If you are a business, the courts of Scotland have exclusive jurisdiction.
