Find out how you interview before it counts.

A realistic interview for the role you are actually going for – technical and behavioural, run to time – then straight feedback on your answers, your gaps and how you came across.

  • Run for your target role, not a generic script
  • Feedback the same session
  • Included with every Blue Team programme

The session

A rehearsal that tells you the truth.

Most people find out how they interview in the interview. This is the rehearsal – and the feedback is direct, because polite feedback is no use to you.

  1. 1

    The interview

A simulated interview for your target role, run to time, by someone who has sat on the other side of the table.

    TechnicalBehavioural
  2. 2

    The feedback

What worked, what did not, where your technical knowledge thinned out, and how the answers landed.

    Straight talking
  3. 3

    What to change

A short list you can work from before the real thing: what to revise, and how to structure the answers you fumbled.

    Before your real interview

What you get asked

The questions that actually come up.

Scenario questions from the domain you are interviewing in, and the human questions people underestimate.

Technical and scenario

  • “Walk me through how you would triage this alert.”
  • Phishing, compromised accounts, suspicious sign-ins
  • What you would check, in what order, and why
  • The tools on your CV – expect to be asked what you did with them

Behavioural and closing

  • “Tell me about yourself” – the answer most people waste
  • Strengths, weaknesses, and the gap in your CV
  • Situation questions: pressure, mistakes, disagreement
  • Questions to ask them, and offer basics if you need them

How you get one

Two ways in.

Mock interviews come with every Blue Team programme. If you are not on one, we still run them – just ask.

Included

On a Blue Team programme

Mock interviews are part of all three programmes, run against real role specifications, alongside your CV rewrite and LinkedIn optimisation.

On its own

Booked directly with us

Tell us the role, the company and when the real interview is, and we will come back with a time and what it costs.

Questions

Before you book.

Will you go easy on me?

No. A comfortable mock interview teaches you nothing. We run it at the level the role would, and the feedback afterwards is plain.

I have a real interview this week. Can you fit me in?

Tell us the date when you get in touch and we will say honestly whether we can. Sessions run in UK hours, including evenings.

What should I send beforehand?

The job advert, the company, and the CV you applied with. That is what makes it realistic rather than generic.

Will this get me the job?

It will stop you being surprised, and it usually improves how you answer. It cannot decide the outcome – that also depends on the other candidates and on the employer.

Interview coming up?

Rehearse it with someone who will tell you straight.

Send us the role and the date. We will tell you whether a mock interview is what you need, or whether your CV is the thing holding you up.
